Available for free tomorrow on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, No Man’s Sky Next is by far the game’s most significant update so far. The pivotal release might as well serve as an informal relaunch for No Man’s Sky, which launched conspicuously missing many of the core features advertised pre-launch. Tomorrow’s update seeks to course-correct by not only adding those missing components, but also implementing a sweeping visual overhaul and expanding beyond what was originally planned....

Hello Games’ Sean Murray shared an intriguing post to Twitter Sunday regarding No Man’s Sky. There is no text in the post, leaving just a single image to convey his message. The image features a four-by-four grid with panels for each of No Man’s Sky’s content updates since launch. In total, there are 15 panels, with the most recent panel being filled in by last week’s Expeditions update, but the bigger point of conversation is what belongs in the empty panel at the end....

There are several quality of life improvements coming to No Man’s Sky with the release of Update 3.38, such as bug fixes, stability improvements, and UI optimizations. These changes come together in a generally small patch to improve the overall No Man’s Sky user experience. Nintendo fans have all raced around Rainbow Road and visited all the attractions in Nintendo Land, but starting in the near future, fans will now be able to jump on a Nintendo-themed ride in the real world. The new partnership between Nintendo and Universal will bring Nintendo-themed rides and attraction to Universal Studios parks.
