As seen in the tweet from the Hello Games founder below, No Man’s Sky’s first update won’t simply be dispatched to fix minor bugs and stability errors, but it will also have “Lots of new features, balancing and content.” The developers have been refining the first update for the better part of a month now, and the studio obviously wants it to support the game in the only in the best ways it can....
As explained by Murray, Hello Games plans to put out a stream of “solid content” for No Man’s Sky, but the studio has decided to only share them openly with the public if it is sure that nothing will be changed within the updates prior to their release. With this being the case, Murray had no actual examples to give in regards to a “roadmap” of content to come due to the studio still being in the process of developing the forthcoming assets....
While No Man’s Sky had something of a disastrous launch when it came out in 2016, it’s since gone on to become one of the most immersive open-world games around. While the crux of the experience involves flying through outer space, discovering planets, and just getting to see a galaxy’s worth of content, the title also has a pretty substantial crafting feature. Many fans are more than keen to create some elaborate bases, and in some instances, they’ll do recreations of their favorite movies....
