Dataminers didn’t have to dig very deep. Within the patch files is a folder titled “BUGGY” which contains all the evidence necessary to show Hello Games is working on driveable cars. The files therein included a texture file for a while, fully modeled wheels, as well as a 2D animation of a rotating buggy with the wheels being highlighted. While these files by themselves don’t prove the existence of in-development vehicles, their inclusion in the patch and the fact they’re entirely inaccessible in-game indicates there’s more to be shown....

Shortly after dropping the reveal trailer, Nintendo broke down exactly what the OLED Model offers. Not only that, but it also confirmed which colors will be available when it launches on October 8th. The first is, unsurprisingly, the classic neon red/neon blue colors that the original Switch has, with the left Joy-Con colored red and the right one blue. Considering its recognizability and the fact that it matches the primary colors of Nintendo’s plumber mascot Mario, it makes sense why Nintendo would distribute the new model in this combination of colors....

Individual memberships will cost $49.99 for 12 months, while family plans will cost $79.99 for 12 months. While speaking at Pocket Gamer Connects, DeNA CEO Shintaro Asako said that his company is helping Nintendo develop five different mobile games, the first of which will be out before the end of 2015. The others will arrive by April, 2017. Each game belongs to a different genre, and features a different Nintendo IP, in order to appeal to the widest audience possible; as Asako said, “We want to make sure out of those five IP that we can end up attracting hundreds of millions of people....

Nintendogs + Cats is one of Nintendo’s launch titles for the just-launched Nintendo 3DS (which we’ve reviewed at your convenience). The franchise’s first series of instalments turned out to be a huge success for Nintendo, and they are following suit with Nintendogs + Cats. The new Nintendogs is more of what people will expect from the infamous pet sim, but that’s also the game’s biggest flaw. Nintendogs + Cats starts off similar to the previous games....

The bill renewal was advanced Monday by a state Senate committee and would exempt two of the industry’s fastest-growing revenue streams from tax calculations of how much the casinos must pay the city. The latest version of the bill that is sponsored by outgoing Senate President Steve Sweeney will exempt internet gambling and online sports betting revenue from the tax calculations. The bill will require casinos to make payment in lieu of taxes to Atlantic City, and should reduce costs from some casinos such as the Borgata but cause an increased payment amount for some casinos such as the Hard Rock....

The former WWE Superstar regained the IWGP United States Championship from Lance Archer in a Texas Deathmatch at Wrestle Kingdom 14 earlier this month. Dave Meltzer now reports that NJPW didn’t know about the match stipulation until Moxley announced it on the fly during a live promo. It was an organic move that wasn’t pre-planned. Meltzer stated on the Wrestling Observer Radio that Moxley came up with the Texas Deathmatch stipulation as he realized that Lance Archer is from Texas....

In case you didn’t know… The G1 (Grade-One) Climax is an annual tournament which is held every year in the month of August by New Japan Pro Wrestling. Despite being held as a single-elimination tournament, the G1 is currently held in a round-robin system, with the winners of the two blocks (Block A and Block B) squaring off in the finals to determine the eventual winner of the tournament. The winner of the G1 Climax is awarded a shot at the IWGP Heavyweight Championship at NJPW’s biggest event of the year....
