With a influx of refund requests, Steam has updated the No Man’s Sky game page in an effort to not only clarify its return policy, but to also take a harder stance on many of the claims the company has been receiving as well. Right above the purchase option on the page, a new notice has been added yesterday with the following message:
For as much hype as this game had prior to launch, the news has not been so great over the past week. While the team at Hello Games works around the clock to fix various issues with the game, the player base continues to decline. Just last week it was discovered that not only have sales on the title slowed down, but 90% of the active player base has already dropped off. Troubling news for a major title that has only been out for a few weeks now.
Have you attempted to get a refund for the game or are you happy with your purchase? Sound off in the comments below.
No Man’s Sky is available now on PC and PlayStation 4.
