Its college basketball team fell to Syracuse in the first round of the NIT, days after Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim said there was “no value” in Greensboro hosting the ACC Tournament. The city gave a snarky response to Boeheim on Twitter, referencing the Orange’s early exit from this year’s event.
